Meerut College of Advance Technology (MCAT) was established in the year 2005. It is an affiliated college situated in Shatabdi Nagar, Meerut, Uttar Pradesh. The institute provides a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes following various interests of academics. The institution is recognised by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) and assures quality teacher training programmes. The college has a total of 426 students and a faculty strength comprising of 32 educators.

The facilities provided by Meerut College of Advance Technology have been designed in order to ease the learning experience and development of students in general. The well-equipped library is the knowledge centre, and vast amounts of academic resources are available for students. A spacious auditorium is there for extracurricular activities and other college events. It emphasises technological advancement with excellent IT infrastructure preparation of students for the digital age. A cafeteria on campus is there, allowing students to relax and socialise.

Meerut College of Advance Technology offers five full-time courses, where classes are conducted in five disciplines. It includes three years undergraduate courses which includes the BCA, BBA, and B.Sc in Home Science. For those who have interests in education, the college is providing two-year BEd course. MCAT also offers two years postgraduate course at M.Ed level. The intake is 365 total approved students across all courses, while BCA has the highest at 120 seats and B.Ed at 100 seats.

The admissions for the B.Ed as well as M.Ed programmes are based on merit, which looks at the marking obtained in the Qualifying examination and Entrance examination. The college in its subject area follows the directives for admission as adopted by the State Government/UT administration, and the affiliated university.
