MES Dental College Malappuram is one of the oldest dental colleges in Kerala, having come into existence in the year 2007 and situated at Perinthalmanna. This affiliated college, recognised by the Dental Council of India (DCI), has been carving the future of dental health care since more than a decade. The college occupies a frontier of 3.67 acres, thus providing the right atmosphere for learning and grooming of professionals. MES Dental College, which practices an intake of 530 students overall and 177 members of faculty strength, guarantees one-to-one teaching and unique education. The institute has a total of 5 courses with 2 degree programs, and all the dental science courses are offered here.

The list of MDS specialised courses consists of Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopaedics, and Prosthodontics and Crown and Bridge. The total student admission for all courses is one hundred and twelve; this was done purposely to ensure the college upholds and maintains a high standard of dental education.

Information on the criteria for admission and admission process at MES Dental College follows various norms framed by the directorate of medical education, Kerala state government. The BDS programme has the following admission criteria: candidates should qualify NEET for admissions.
