MES Training College, Edathala, the affiliated college, was established in 2005 at Ernakulam, Kerala. MES Training College, Edathala, offers two comprehensive teacher training programmes: While the university offers a four-year integrated Bachelors in Education (B.ED) course, the state university offers a two-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.EL.ED). The two are hold courses taking two years, where each programme prepares the students for an effective teaching profession.
