MESCO Institute of Management and Computer Sciences, Hyderabad: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

MESCO Institute of Management and Computer Sciences is an affiliated college founded in 2001 in Hyderabad, Telangana. This institute, which was established in 1994, is marked by recognition from the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and is currently specialising in management and computer sciences. Present on a small plot, measuring only 5 acres, MESCO ideally prepares students for further education and professional careers. As of now, the institute has two postgraduate courses and comprises of 13 professional faculties, all of whom focus on the students to provide an individualistic approach towards academics.

The institute boasts of having provided a list of compound amenities that may improve the students’ experience. There is a separate hostel for boys and girls for outstation students; the living facilities are comfortable enough. A good library acts as an information centre, and the technological tools used help students to be updated on the current technological developments. For those with a leaning towards the physical aspect of fitness, a gymnasium is within the compound. The institute also holds a health centre with First Aid for many student affairs, ensuring their wellbeing. Based on learner-centredness, persons involved in any kind of sport activity can fully utilise various sports facilities, thus striking a balance between learning and sports. For the students and the staff, there is a cafeteria; for various events and seminars, there is an auditorium. The institute also has a good alumni base, and the students get to learn from their seniors with regards to industries and jobs.

MESCO Institute of Management and Computer Sciences currently offers two full-time postgraduate programmes: mba with computer application as a specialisation and MCA three-year full-time degree courses. At present, MBA programme have an intake capacity of 90 students, and MCA programme have an intake of 60 students. The purpose of both programmes is to ensure that the students gain the necessary knowledge and skills to pass on a record of achievement and professional qualifications, ensuring the successful work of graduates in their chosen field. Focusing on these two areas of specialisation also gives the institute a good opportunity to deliver on its mandate and achieve the perceived qualities and quantities of value offering.

The mode of entry into the MESCO Institute of Management and Computer Sciences mainly comprises an entrance test. For MBA programmes, the institute admits candidates with only TSICET scores; for MCA programmes too, the TSICET scores are considered valid. This test is the only state-level examination that enables the aspiring students to get admission in these highly sought-after programmes. The MBA admission process clearly states that admission will be made through the ICET (Integrated Common Entrance Test) score only. For the MCA programme, though the particular test is not mentioned, it is pointed out that there is an entrance test, which can be TSICET as well. 

Favourite contenders are encouraged to stay alert on the TSICET Exam schedule and do some preparations. There is, unfortunately, no particular scholarship programme information; however, students are welcome to consult the institute more for any possible scholarship programmes.
