Metro College of Health Sciences and Research, Greater Noida: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

Metro College of Health Sciences and Research was established in the year 2017. The college is located in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh and provides co-educational facilities. It covers an area of 2.5 acres and mainly focuses on quality pharmacy education. All India Council for Technical Education and the Pharmacy Council of India have sanctioned pharmaceutical programmes in the institution. The college ensures a conducive student-teacher ratio with a total strength of 219 students and a faculty strength of 28. 

The college has modern facilities that facilitate both the academic and personal life of the students. Advanced I.T Infrastructure with computer labs provided at the ratio of 1:3 computer-student and campus-wide Wi-Fi connectivity. Library. The library is an important resource centre, which had in its collection of books around 1 lakh references, textbooks, periodicals, and journals. Separate hostels exist for boys and girls. They are managed by wardens to ensure discipline and smooth working. The laboratories in the college are equipped with advanced apparatus for the students for practical exposure to their field of study. Other facilities are an air-conditioned cafeteria, transport facility to and from Delhi and NCR, a health center, gymnasium, guest house, and sports facilities. Metro College of Health Sciences and Research conducts four courses in pharmacy. 

The college is offering 4 full-time courses at the diploma, undergraduate, and postgraduate levels. The college provides one D.Pharma full-time course, one B.Pharma full-time course, and two M.Pharm courses: Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Pharmaceutics. All these courses have a total intake of 190 students. 

The admission process differs course-wise in Metro College of Health Sciences and Research. For D.Pharma, it is dependent on the Joint Entrance Examination conducted by the Board of Technical Education, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. For B.Pharma, the admission is done by State Entrance Examination conducted by Dr. A.P.J Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow.
