Mewati Devi Mahavidyalaya, Mau, Uttar Pradesh, is an affiliated college that was established in the year 2014 and is helping in building the young generation. Located in Muhammdabad Gohna on SH 34, this institution has made its mark among educational institutes of the area. The college is affiliated with the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) and focuses on the needs of every student by providing them with the number of undergraduate programmes specialisations and the diploma course. The college takes a total of 90 students in a year.

Mewati Devi Mahavidyalaya has a number of facilities required to support the general learning process of the students. The core of these amenities is a functional library also functioning as a media centre that improves the learners’ educational quest. The automation of the library and its online competence through the OPAC shows the institute's desire to integrate technology into learning. In order to support practical experience, the college offers departmental laboratories. It has two computer laboratories for teaching certificate courses, video and web conferencing, ancillary training for job placements, and preparation of its students for the new world of information technology. 

Mewati Devi Mahavidyalaya has a limited but sufficiently extensive assortment of programmes being established as a centre for quality education in a number of subjects. The college provides three full-time programmes. These include the Bachelor of Arts (BA), Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.), and the Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.). All of these programmes are intended to prepare the students for professional education and employment at the same time. While the B.A. and B.Sc. programmes are spread over three years, the D.El.Ed. programme is of two years duration for the seekers of the teaching profession. Such a strategy allows the institution to have high standards of educating the students in all their programmes.

The admission criteria too will be fair and along merit basis, especially for the D.El.Ed course of the Mewati Devi Mahavidyalaya. At the entrance, admission is given by an aggregate of marks in the passing standard and/or an entrance test of this course.
