Mewati Devi Mahavidyalaya, Mau, Uttar Pradesh, is an affiliated college that was established in the year 2014 and is helping in building young generation. Located in Muhammdabad Gohna on SH 34, this institution has made its mark among educational institutes of the area. The college is affiliated with the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) focuses on the need of every student by providing them with the number of undergraduate programmes specialisations and the diploma course. The college takes a total of 90 students in a year.

Mewati Devi Mahavidyalaya has a number of facilities required in supporting the general learning process of the students. t the core of these amenities is a functional library also functioning as a media centre that improves the learners’ educational quest. The college provides three full-time programmes. These includes the Bachelor of Arts (BA), Bachelor of Science (B.Sc), and the Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed). All of these programmes are intended to prepare the students for the professional education and employment at the same time. While the B.A and B.Sc programmes are spread over three years, the D.El.Ed programme is of two years duration for the seekers of teaching profession. Such a strategy allows the institution to have high standards of educating the students in all their programmes.

The admission criteria too will be fair and along merit basis especially for the D.El.Ed course of the Mewati Devi Mahavidyalaya. At the entrance, the admission is given by aggregate of marks in the passing standard and/or an entrance test of this course. The college may also adopt other selection methods as required by the state government of UT administration. Mewati Devi Mahavidyalaya offers quality education not only in academic area. The sporting amenities in the college allow for intra-muros activities as well as extra-muros activities that include mass exercises hence helping to de-(convince) lethargy among the students and at the same time enhancing team work.
