The Michael Job College of Arts and Science for Women, Sulur, established in 2005 is an affiliated college situated at Sulur Boat Lake in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. The institution is located on a 4.89 acre compound and it has developed capacity to offer 23 different courses within nine degree programmes. So the over all enrollment of the college is 517 and faculty strength of the college is 81 so the student teacher ratio is better. The institution is a women’s university, which seeks to produce competent women with various specialties in arts, science and commerce at the undergraduate, master and doctoral levels.

Michael Job College of Arts and Science has available facilities created to improve learning and personal growth of the learners in the institution. The hostel on the campus for the girls can handle about 310 students allowing outstation students to live comfortably. College library is one of the best equipped modern libraries that are completely computerized and houses hundreds of books, magazine and other publications. It is an open access system and has 20 computers which are used for several working processes and servicers. It also has well-developed laboratories for Zoology, Computer Science and Commerce department as per UGC guidelines. Regarding the accomplishment of contemporary learning techniques, the college has developed audio visual lecture halls with LCD Projectors etc. To maintain a healthy body and exercise, the campus has put up bar and gymhem. The college also has an auditorium for occasions and seminars, canteen and guest house facilities and adequate parking area.

Under the programmes offered by Michael Job College of Arts and Science for Women we have all round academic programmes. The institution offers 23 courses mainly in full time degree programmes which encompass undergraduate, postgraduate and doctorate. Course containing various streams like Computer Applications, Commerce, English Literature, Mathematics, Zoology, Information Technology, Tamil Literature, and History & Tourism are taught in the institute.
