Eligibility Criteria 

B.Ed

Rs. 1.32 lakhs 

The candidates should have passed the Bachelor's Degree and/or Master’s Degree examination with minimum 50% aggregate marks (45% marks for SC/ST category candidates) in the Faculty of Arts, Science, Social Science, Commerce or Faculty of Music and Fine Arts from the University of Jammu or any recognised University or should have passed the Bachelor’s Degree examination of four year duration.

B.Ed Special Education 

Rs. 1.36 lakhs 

Admission shall be open to candidates with minimum 50% marks (45% for SC/ST category candidates) either in the Bachelor’s Degree and/or in the Master’s Degree in Science/Social Science/Humanities, Engineering or Technology with Specialization in Science and Mathematics with 55% marks (50% for the reserved category candidates) or any other equivalent qualification from a recognised University.

MA Education

Rs. 1.12 lakhs 

The candidates must have passed the Bachelor’s Degree Examination with Education as an elective/additional subject with minimum 40% aggregate marks (36% marks for the SC/ST category candidates).

M.Ed

Rs. 1.56 lakhs 

The candidate should have obtained at least 50% aggregate marks (45% for candidates who belong to the SC/ST category) or an equivalent grade in the following programmes: B.Ed, 4 year Integrated BA B.Ed, B.Sc, B.Ed, B.EL.Ed, D.EL.Ed. with an undergraduate degree (with 50% marks in each).

M.Ed Special Education 

Rs. 1.70 lakhs 

The candidates must have passed B.Ed Spl.Ed. examination with minimum 50% marks in Intellectual Disability. 

OR

Candidates must have passed the B.Ed. General course and have completed Diploma in Education Special Education in Intellectual Disability recognized by the Rehabilitation Council of India with minimum 50% marks in each course.

Ph.D Education 

Rs. 4.50 lakhs 

The candidates should have a Master’s and/or M.Phil Degree.
