Milestone Institute of Professional Studies, Ghaziabad: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

The Milestone Institute of Professional Studies, Ghaziabad was established in the year 2004 as an affiliated college of Uttar Pradesh, India. It is approved by NCTE and offering various undergraduate and postgraduate courses. MIPS Ghaziabad exists on a 1.5-acre compact campus, comprising 607 students and 10 faculty members. Presently, 8 courses are offered in 7 degrees and specifically, fields such as Education, Management, Computer Applications, Commerce, and Arts are pursued there. 

The institution has a wide range of facilities to support the students during their course of study. The campus has a good infrastructure for a library having over 12,000 books, 2,500 titles, and subscriptions to 45 reputed journals. A doctor's clinic is also available on campus in case of emergencies; more serious cases are then referred to hospitals with which institutes are in local tie-up. The IT infrastructure is highly power-generating and connects the whole campus with Wi-Fi, providing students with broadband internet having a least of 2 Mbps, further extended by a WiMAX tower. Facilities for sports enthusiasts are also there who can enjoy indoor as well as outdoor games like basketball, badminton, table tennis, chess, and carom. The auditorium and seminar hall at the campus are throbbing with perfect air-conditioned coolness, with the ability to accommodate more than 300. Several cultural programmes, as well as seminars and conferences are also organised here. 

As a whole, the institute confers 8 courses and all in the full-time manner. It offers undergraduate courses such as BBA, BCA, B.Ed, B.Com, B.Sc, and BA along with a postgraduate course in M.Ed. The sanctioned strength of students for all its courses taken together is 607. 

The admission is course dependent and varies only at MIPS Ghaziabad. The institute offers admission to the B.Ed. The programme is through the state-level Common Entrance Exam conducted by Uttar Pradesh State Universities. For the BCA programme, the rules of U. P. State Government and CCS University, Meerut, have been followed for admission. M. Ed is admitted through entrance tests conducted by Chaudhary Charan Singh University, Meerut. For other courses, the institution is following the guidelines of the respective governing bodies.
