Military College of Telecommunication Engineering (MCTE) is an established in 1946 situated in Mhow, Indore, Madhya Pradesh . This college is affiliated with Jagran Lakecity University and approved by AICTE focusing on providing Telecom and Information Technology education to the military. MCTE occupies a large area of 563 acres; it combined technical knowledge with militaries traits." The college has a total student enrolment of 1,360 and a faculty strength of 60 so as to create an appropriate student teacher ratio, which helps in better teaching and transferring of knowledge.

Military College of Telecommunication Engineering has state of the art facilities that very effectively accommodate the academic and pastoral needs of the trainees. The college also houses a hostel which caters for both boys and girls separately with all the comfort they deserve. A library with abundant books and resources fulfils the role of a knowledge center and molecule communication; each department has well-equipped laboratories for practical learning. There is also a hall for performing special events and seminars, canteen where learners can get snacks and beverages, and a health facility with emergency first aid stations. For those with a prerogative of sports and body building MCTE provides a variety of gyms and sports equipment. The college’s IT setup is particularly good given that its courses are technical in some ways.
