Minority Arts and Science College, at Palakkad, Kerala was established in the year 2005 as an affiliated college of the University of Calicut. Affiliated to the Mahatma Gandhi University situate in Vattaparambu Padinharangadi of Otalur-Post this institution occupies a five acre more than greens which provides quiet inspiring environment. The college enrolment at the moment is 474 students accompanied by its faculty comprising of 20 members. Being an arts and commerce college, there are a total of 6 undergraduate programmes which are in 3 courses namely, B.A, B.Com and BBA in English, Business administration and Commerce respectively.

Minority Arts and Science College boasts of having made various provisions to complement the students’ experience on the institution. Out of all the academic resources, comes the beacon of knowledge – the library, which contains many books, journals, magazines and newspapers. For the individual who would prefer the physically active type of individuals, there are facilities for sports activities for all students because at Apolymer we believe in a balance between class work and sports. The college also has one of the best IT systems and thus the students are ever prepared to face the modern world. An auditorium is a place used for organizing events and seminars, and helps create an active extracurricular life at the university. Security and safety are provided for with the presence of a medical center which provides first aid. There are also ample numbers of spacious and well furnished class rooms to enable the students to study in a very hygienically maintained environment.

Minority Arts and Science College presently has a good number of full time undergraduate programmes of study across all the fields of knowledge. At the moment the college offers six courses, of which all the are ordinary full-time courses. For all the courses the total approved student intake has been set at 280 places. The college awards degrees of Bachelor of Arts (BA), Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), and Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com), all of which have different fields to address the changing needs of the economy and the classroom.

    • B.Com Co-Operation – 60 seats

    • B.Com Finance – 40 seats
      Admission is merit-based with emphasis on Accountancy, Business Studies, and Mathematics.

  • BBA Specializations

    • BBA Human Resource Management – 50 seats

    • BBA Marketing – 30 seats
      Admission is based on overall academic performance, with preference for students from Commerce or Business backgrounds.
