Miranda College of Nursing was established in the year 2002 and is a leading nursing college. Situated at KHB colony, 5th Phase Yelahanka, New Town Bangalore, this affiliated college is constructed on 1 acres of land. The institute is recognised by the Indian Nursing Council (INC) to maintain the quality education of course related to nursing. Miranda College of Nursing has a total enrolment of 245 students and 53 member faculties offers a vast specialisation of nursing courses.

Miranda College also as a stock of facilities that can improve quality of teaches in learning process of students. A reading room is serving with more than 3000 books, both on nursing subject and general interest and Indian and foreign nurses magazines. The institution has eight hostels for students, four for girls and four for boys, together with the teacher-wardens who are appointed by the Principal. For practical reasons, the college has a health centre with first aid facilities and departmental laboratories. Sports facilities, including a gym and IT facilities, may also help meet the need of students in their respective activities. A 1000 seater auditorium is made available for holding seminars, workshops, cultural activities improving the rich campus life. It also provides transport amenities for clinical and community health undertakings in order to allow students possible ways to the sites they need for practice.

At Miranda College of Nursing, 8 nursing courses is available across three degree levels to make sure the students have a wide field to choose from. Only full-time courses are taught in the institute which includes GNM, B.Sc Nursing, Post Basic B.Sc Nursing, and numerous M.Sc Nursing courses. 

Miranda College Of Nursing has set admission requirements in order to ensure that deserving students are selected for various programmes offered in the college. The college follows admission procedure for its undergraduate and postgraduate courses and every course has its own prerequisite that can be met by the students for pursuing the particular course. For B.Sc Nursing, the criteria for the course is 10+2 with science subjects and M.Sc Nursing courses, on the other hand, demand for a holder of B.Sc Nursing qualification.
