MIT College of Pharmacy, Moradabad, was set up only in 2019 and therefore, can be categorised as a relatively young university. Situated in Ram Ganga Vihar Phase-II, Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, it is an affiliated college which has carved out its niche in the educational area of the field of pharmacy. The institute is chartered by the PCI and AICTE providing compliance with federal specifications. MIT College of Pharmacy is situated in spread over an area of 2. 506 acres being one of the compact campuses and offers intake of 117 students with the qualified faculties of 20 members only. At present, the college has formulated two programmes in pharmacy to produce human resource in this fast-growing area of health profession.
MIT College of Pharmacy has a wide variety of facilities to make sure that the students acquire a complete prepare in all spheres of their development. The college has 14 well-designed and integrated laboratories to provide practical exposure to the students with state of the art equipment’s. IT structure involved ample computer laboratory with 40 terminal, offering round the clock internet facility and other standard software for computer aided drug designing. At present, MIT College of Pharmacy has two full-time courses in the faculty of pharmacy. In collaborative pharmacy education, the institute offers a two year Diploma in Pharmacy known as D.Pharma in addition to a four year Bachelors in Pharmacy known as B.Pharma. Each of the two courses has an approved intake capacity of 60 students resulting to a student intake capacity of 120. Any of these programmes is aimed to prepare student for career in the pharmaceutical industry by imparting all the necessary knowledge and skills. Cohesion and focus on these two core programmes offer the college a chance to pay close attention on the curriculum and practical training so as to offer the students the best grounding in pharmaceutical sciences.
