24 MonthsMA in Political Leadership & Government (MPG) is a unique program where in first year comprises campus based classroom learning, field visits and study tours while second year constitutes different internships and attachments. The objective is to offer a blend of classroom teaching & practical exposure enabling young aspirants realize their leadership potential in Politics, viz.
- To become trained Political Leaders and understand the dynamics of Indian Politics
- To learn to manage Election Campaign and learn techniques of Constituency Management.
- To understand Functioning of Government
- To understand the role & responsibilities of different ministries, Members of Parliament from Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha
- To understand & learn the process of drafting & presenting a Bill in the Parliament / Assembly
- To understand the process of Budget preparation
- To understand the role of Planning Commission
Eligibility Criteria
Any graduate with min. 50% aggregate from any recognized university as well as those appearing for their final year graduation examinations can apply.
Admission Details
The selection process is conducted ONLINE for MPG, Batch 17, AY 2021-23 comprising a descriptive written test / aptitude test followed by a detailed personal interview.
