MIT WPU School of Commerce, Pune, is one of the constituent colleges of MIT-World Peace University, situated in Kothrud, Pune, Maharashtra. Many opportunities for learning resources are offered by the MIT WPU School of Commerce to help students have all the means necessary for the proper learning process. There is a centrally air-conditioned computer laboratory where there are one hundred Inten i3/i5 processor dedicated workstations with free internet connection twenty-four hours a day. The e-campus, involving 800 computers, is in turn connected to the department’s network. The central library of the university is computerised and automated in every work relevant to the library, with the use of the KOHA software. Facilities available include well-proportioned classrooms with projectors/smart boards, collar bikes for every thirty students, and white boards. The institute also has hostel houses for boys and girls provided by MIT’s Pune Campus; facilities are available for public telephone, television room, and general hospital services. Other amenities include a canteen, a modern gym, playgrounds, and internet connections all over the compound.
MIT WPU School of Commerce offers three full-time courses. There are two programmes at the Baccalaureate degree level and one at the Master's degree level. The undergraduate curricula are B.Com and B.Com (Hons) in International Accounting and Finance, with an admission capacity of one twenty for each programme. As a result, all the courses offered in the commerce education sector are purposed to equip the students with all aspects of commerce and fit them in different occupations for the commerce sector.

Degree wise Admission Process
B.Com: The MIT WPU School of Commerce provides a general B.Com with an intake capacity of 120 seats. Two stages constitute the admission process; these are MIT-WPU CET UG General 2025 (online proctored entrance exam) followed by a Personal Interview. Admissions are offered based on combined performance in the two stages.
B.Com (Hons) International Accounting and Finance intake in 120. Admission is strictly on the basis of the scores obtained in MIT-WPU CET Entrance Exam 2024 and Personal Interaction (PI).
B.Com Advanced Accounting and Auditing: The selection for this program shall be through the scoring of the scores obtained in the MIT-WPU CET Entrance Exam 2024 and Personal Interaction.
B. Com Fintech The same admission process is followed for this new course as other B. Com specializations, that is, the MIT-WPU CET Entrance Exam 2024 along with PI scores.
B. Com Financial Analysis Integrated with Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Online proctored entrance exam is MIT-WPU CET UG General 2025, which is followed by a Personal Interview.
MCom: This PG program is undertaken by 40 students in one intake. This program also goes through selection as per the merit of scores for MIT-WPU CET PI-2025, and date/time for the online examination as well as the personal interaction shall be intimated to the student in advance only once scheduled.
Ph.D. Commerce: The intakes are different for the Ph.D. program. Candidates need to appear for the entrance test of Ph.D. at MIT WPU, followed by an interview/viva-voce. Exemptions from entrance test are available to students who have qualified UGC-NET/UGC-CSIR NET/GATE/CEED/GPAT or the equivalent other national-level tests.
