Bachelor of Design (B.Des) in Product Design is four year (8 semester) full time program offered by the Dr Vishwanath Karad MIT World Peace University, Pune.

Product Design is concerned primarily with the relationship between products, systems and those who use them. It covers the design of a wide range of tangible things like consumer goods and appliances, vehicles, industrial tools, healthcare equipment etc.

Product Designers are well poised in the NPD (new product development) processes and are hence suitable for leading product development. However, depending on the complexity of the product in question they often choose to contribute on the most creative part of the value chain

Eligibility Criteria

The Candidate should have passed 10+2 from Science, Commerce, Arts & Humanities etc. (HSC, CBSE, ICSE, IB Diploma (of the International Baccalaureate Office, Geneva, Switzerland), IGCSE (University of Cambridge) or their equivalent as can be stated/or established by Association of Indian Universities(AIU), www.aiuweb.org)) securing aggregate 50% marks (at least 45 % marks, in case of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only).

Candidates who have their 10+2 results pending will be provisionally admitted subject to furnishing the certificates when available. AN
