MIT WPU School of Pharmacy is one of the foundations of MIT World Peace University. It was established in the the year 1997. The co-educational school is located in Kothrud, Pune, and is approved by the Pharmacy Council of India. It holds 11 courses for 5 different degrees on offer in Pharmacy. This corresponds to a total faculty number of 23 for a total student enrolment of 506.

The facilities on campus are many and ultramodern, all to facilitate the growth and development of the students in their academics and other facets of life. The flagship course in the college is B. Pharma, which admits 100 seats; other important courses are M. Pharma with specialisations in Pharmaceutical Quality Assurance, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Pharmaceutics, Pharmacology, Pharmacognosy, and Pharmaceutical Analysis. The school also conducts a Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Chemistry and a PG Diploma in Regulatory Affairs.

Admission procedure at MIT WPU School of Pharmacy varies from course to course. For B.Pharma, the admissions are done by virtue of inter-se-merit of the marks in MHT-CET or NEET for All India Quota. Also, a candidate must have passed his 10+2 examination in Science stream and should be eligible for the PERA-CET exam. Though admission highly depends on the GPAT scored and conducted by the National Testing Agency, many take into consideration the MAH-MPHCET. Sponsored candidates require a minimum of two years of full-time work experience in a relevant field for admission to M.Pharma programs at the institute. MIT WPU School of Pharmacy, Pune Admission

MIT World Peace University School of Pharmacy, Pune is an institute well-known to impart pharmacy programs in large numbers at undergraduate, postgraduate, and even doctoral levels. The admission procedure in MIT WPU School of Pharmacy is precisely undertaken through a full-fledged evaluation system to enroll the best qualified candidates in the country.

Admission cycle usually starts in the month of May-June for the starting academic year of August-September. The Institute accepts admissions on various national level entrance examinations conducted throughout the country based on the requirement of the program. Scores from MHT-CET/NEET are accepted for Undergraduate programs whereas for post graduate admission, scores mainly from GPAT are accepted.

The minimum qualification for B. Pharma is 10 + 2 from a recognized board with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as the mandatory subjects. Only such candidates are eligible to appear for the PERA-CET examinations. Candidates with a degree in B.Pharma and valid GPAT marks are eligible for admissions into M.Pharma courses. Sponsored applicants should have completed two years of continuous full-time employment experience in suitable fields.

The dates for applying to the institute differ according to the program that one is willing to pursue as well as entrance exams. Exam dates for PCB group MHT CET are in April 8, 2025. This is a subject to change due to the ongoing pandemic. Results and exam date announcements will appear on the MIT WPU School of Pharmacy's official website along with application deadline dates.

B.Pharma:

 Degree wise Admission Process

B.Pharma: Eligibility for B.Pharma program is through merit in MHT-CET or NEET, for All India Quota. The institute offers 100 seats for this program. The candidate should have passed the 10+2 examination of Science stream. The candidate should also be eligible to appear for PERA-CET exam.

M.Pharma: The MIT WPU School of Pharmacy provides M.Pharma in various specializations such as Pharmaceutical Quality Assurance, Pharmaceutics, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Pharmacology, Pharmacognosy, and Pharmaceutical Analysis. Students are selected based on GPAT scores followed by a written test and/or interview. Candidates must have a B.Pharma degree and valid GPAT scores. The intake is different for each specialization; for Pharmaceutical Quality Assurance and Pharmaceutics, there are 15 seats respectively, while Pharmaceutical Chemistry has 9 seats.

In Pharmacy Chemistry, institute provides a degree course of the Ph.D programme. Admission can be done solely based on one's performance at written test and or an interview for every student. Also, candidates pursuing any postgraduate from recognized institutes qualify to apply

Pharm D: MIT WPU School of Pharmacy also admits for Pharm. D, with all the exact admission details provided.

M.Tech in Medical Devices: Admission will be based on the merit of the score of MIT-WPU CET 2025, PERA CET 2025, or GATE 2025/2024/2023 and Personal Interaction at MIT-WPU.
