Mk Institute of Diploma Studies and Technological Research, Patan: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

Established in 2018, MK Institute of Diploma Studies and Technological Research, Patan is a relatively young institution making its mark in the field of technical education. This coeducational institute is situated along the Patan Deesa Highway Road, Matarwadi, just opposite the Hemchandracharya North Gujarat University; it is an affiliated college approved by AICTE. With the current enrolment of 61 students and a faculty strength of 10, it provides a conducive learning environment.

The institute has several facilities to make a student's life more enriching and to support his/her academic pursuits. The campus has a boy's hostel and a girl's hostel that provide comfortable accommodation to students coming from different regions of the country. Classrooms The classrooms are spaciously spread in an amphitheater style and well-equipped with integrated audio-visual teaching aids, offering a great opportunity for dynamic discussions and effective learning. Library The library is a Centre for Exploration and Research. It consists of a collection of Books, Journals, and Digital Resources as per GTU and AICTE norms. The institutes maintain department based laboratories that are well-equipped for hands-on learning.

The MK Institute of Diploma Studies and Technological Research has four diploma courses that are available in the institute, all full-time regular courses. The four programs incorporate the Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, and Computer Engineering. Out of these, each course has an intake capacity of 60 seats, thereby making the total intake capacity come to 240 in all programs. 

This institute is approved by AICTE, so it most likely follows the usual admission procedures for the Diploma course in Gujarat. Students have to satisfy some eligibility criteria based on their performance in the relevant qualifying examinations.
