MKES College of Law, Mumbai: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

MKES College of Law, Mumbai, is an affiliated constituent, Malad West, Mumbai-based, and was established in the year 2014. The institution, spread across 6 acres, enjoys BCI approval, aiming to tender integrated legal education. The sanctioned enrolment  of students is 885, with 12 faculty members available to provide a concentrated learning environment for aspiring legal professionals. 

The students enjoy a lot of facilities within the college compound. It has a well-stocked library equipped with an automated system and subscribed to leading international and national law journals. It also has access to the Manupatra database. The moot court is also well-equipped for practical training. Students are provided with an opportunity to develop advocacy skills. There are air-conditioned classrooms fitted with modern teaching aids like LCD projectors. 

There are a total of 6 courses at MKES College of Law, all full-time. The college offers, at the undergraduate integrated courses level, courses like BLS LLB, LLB Integrated, BA LLB, and a three-year LLB programme. At the postgraduate level, LLM programmes are available in Business Law and Criminal Law and Criminal Administration. In total, the approvaed an intake of all courses combined is 564 students, which goes on to show the capacity of the college to provide quality legal education to a substantial number of aspiring lawyers each year. 

The admission procedure, in general, at MKES College of Law, is on the basis of merit and as per the Centralised Admission Procedure, CAP, and on the basis of the rank obtained in MH-CET Law. This forms a sort of streamlined procedure for admissions, where admissions are both transparent and fair. MH-CET Law is the recognised entrance exam by which college for its undergraduate courses. Admissions to BLS LLB Integrated and LLB courses are made through the CAP based on the MH-CET merit list.
