MN College of Optometry is one of the renowned and specialised institution of optometry and eye care situated in Chennai and was started in the year of 2005. Situated in TNHB, - 779 T.H. Road Tondiarpet, Chennai, this affiliation college is set in a small area of 0.5 acres. In this college, the total number of students intake is 74 and the faculties recruited are 9 who provide a close academic environment. These include five courses in four degree programmes aiming at understanding the increasing aspects of optometry and ophthalmic practice. The courses of study include an undergraduate 4-year programme, the Bachelor of Optometry (B.Optom), and post-graduate 2-year Master of Optometry (M.Optom) programme; and there are two diploma programmes, namely the two-year Ophthalmic Assistant and the Ophthalmic Technician. In addition, specific training is given through 1-year Fellowship in Optometry program in the college. The college  admits a total of seventy-four students to allow for one on one training while offering quality education in the area of eye care.
