MN Technical Institute, Bangalore, was founded in the year 1986; this is technical education institute situated in Bangalore which is the capital of Karnataka state. This affiliated college approved by the All India Council for Technical Education needed technical talents and has been offering the shaping of youth since more than two decades. Accommodated in a large 5-acre complex, learning and development is facilitated at MNTI in a safe environment. Being a small institute with a total student intake of 457 and faculty strength of 46, students get enough individual attention and medal quality education. At present, MNTI has five diploma programmes that should prepare students to meet the demands of the workplace.

MN Technical Institute provides a great number of facilities that contribute to the effective learning process. The computerised library of the college has a seating capacity of more than 500 students with more than 12,500 standard books and science technological magazines and journals, procured by adding approximately 1000 books every year. Students also have foremost international and national technical journals which make them have direct understanding on what they want. The labs and workshops are equipped for college and students can gain valuable practical knowledge important for their college education. For the admission, MNTI has a boys’ hostel with standard accommodations to assur student comfort by providing facilities such as gym and especially a yoga class to assure student’s health. The campus also comprises an event and seminar hall, a canteen and the parking area for students’ vehicles is available.

For this reason, the programmes of study in MNTI are planned with the structure of technical specialisation that is fast changing. The institute offers five diploma programmes which take a period of three years to complete for a fulltime candidate. There are Diploma courses in Mechanical Engineering, Electronics & Communication engineering, Computer Science & Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering and Civil Engineering. The sanctioned intake of the college in all courses put together is 320 students and for Mechanical Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering courses has a higher intake of 96 each. This diverse offers student to select a field of their interest and also provides them with an opportunity to achieve their dream careers.
