Model Mahila College, Kharsawan started in the year 2016 and it is a constituent college of the S.K.M. University at Hazaribagh catering the education needs of the rural and tribal girls of Sarikela-Kharsawan district of Jharkhand. Devoted solely to female learners, this intuitions aims at offering quality education to students of that region. Located in a five acre of land, the college provides various under graduate courses in arts and computer applications. This very strategic school has a good student Size of 296, manned by 6 members of faculties only, which contributes to its focused learning environment. The college provides 7 courses in 4 degree programs, counting for every kind of academic focus and prospective profession of learners.

There is guest house /waiting room also available on the campus for visiting faculty and other relatives.
