Moderator Gnanadason Polytechnic College (MGPC) was set during the year 1983-1984, functioning as one of the leading technical Educational Institution in KANYAKUMARI of TAMIL NADU state of Republic of India. This affiliated college approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), provides a several types of diploma courses in different fields of engineering. Located in a sprawling campus of 5.21 acres, MGPC is offering the deprived society quality technical education to 244 students with the help of a team of a total of 53 members of faculty.

The facilities displayed in MGPC includes some of the most modern amenities that are intended to complement students learning experiences. To meet the educational needs of each department, college campus is provided with well equipped laboratories. Every comprehensive library is designed as a centre of ideas and knowledge, that IT facilities correspond to such forms of learning. For physical health, the college provides the sports amenities and gym. The facility also provides various programs and seminars that enhance the activity of the learning institution. MGPC also manages the transportation of students from outstation, in addition to its hostels that are split differently for boys and girls. In total, the college personalises eight diploma programmes including five diploma programmes offered to all full-time students for a duration of three years. These programmes span across the entire range of specialisation areas in engineering as well as meeting a broad range of interests and needs within various industries. The total number of students that the college takes in for all the courses stands at 360 and this is an indication of the college’s potential in building many professional engineers.
