Modern College of Education, Bir Kalyan, is an affiliated college situated in Sangrur, Punjab. M.Ed.: The admission process of the M.Ed. program with a capacity of 50 seats has criteria similar to the B.Ed. program. Candidates are selected based on merit, which is computed based on the performance in the qualifying examination (mostly a B.Ed. degree) and/or an entrance examination. The selection procedure in question conforms to the specific guidelines furnished by the State Government, UT Administration, and the affiliated University.
D.El.Ed.: The Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.) program, too, has 50 seats available. Admissions to this program are based on merit, considering results from qualifying examinations and/or any entrance examinations, based on state government policy or UT Administration. The program is meant for those wishing to become teachers at the elementary school level.
