However, the flagship of academic programmes at Modern College of Education is the Bachelor of Education (B.ED) programme. This is a full-time course that takes two years to complete and was developed to prepare students for teaching profession. With an approved intake of 100 students for B.Ed programme the offer the programme which combines both practical experiences alongside with the theories. Total intake of students in this college is 200 and it may have other courses or batches if finer details of the other programs are not available.

The admission criteria at Modern College of Education means that students get admission on the basis of their performance and their academic achievements. Students seeking to join the college, are selected from the end of the qualifying examination and/or entrance examination. The college may also use other methods of selection from time to time as recommended by the State Government, Union Territory Administration or the University to which the college is affiliated.
