Established in the year 2007, Modern College of Education, Panipat is so formed to work towards carving the face of education to come. A co-educational college, situated at Dehra, Tehsil Samalkha, Panipat district, Haryana, it provides professional programs in teacher education. The total enrolment of students is 253, with 18 faculties, hence maintaining a very favorable student-teacher ratio that provides enough scope for each individual to get personalized attention and quality education. The compact campus area is 0.84633 acres, providing an intimate atmosphere for learning which assists in academic growth. The place is finally recognized by the National Council for Teacher Education, New Delhi, and affiliated at the college level to make sure high standard educational values are guaranteed.

The various facilities availed in the college are numerous and very well-planned with the view to help facilitate a good learning process for its students. There is a well-stocked library that will serve as a knowledge center to help in academic pursuits. Facilities for sports and a gymnasium are available for the physically fit. Modern College of Education is running two full-time courses, namely Bachelor of Education B.Ed and Diploma in Education D.Ed. Sanctioned intake for two years B.Ed program is 100 students while it is 50 for two years D.Ed program.

Modern College of Education has a fairly inclusive and broad-based admission policy. Admissions to B.Ed and D.Ed are strictly on the basis of merit, prepared in accordance with the marks secured in the qualifying examination. The institute may conduct an Entrance Test or follow such other selection procedure which may be prescribed by the concerned state government, Union Territory administration, or the affiliating university.
