Modern Indian College of Education, Rewari, was basically started in the year 2008 as a co-educational base of learning for future educators. This affiliated college is located at village Pali, Post-Kund, Rewari, Haryana, and has been granted recognition by NCTE. The institute offers two specialised degree programs in education on its compact campus spread over 0.8735 acres. Modern Indian College of Education has an enrolment of 290 students altogether and the faculty strength is 16. This enables an ideal learning-teaching atmosphere to be maintained for the students who aspire to be teachers.

The college has ample facilities supporting its students at large in their academic pursuits. The amenities include a spacious library measuring 2210 square feet with sitting capacity for 805 students. It has a collection of 4,750 books, 200 reference materials, subscriptions to 44 current journals, and 10 magazines, which serve as a comprehensive resource center for teacher education and allied disciplines. There exists an educational technology lab, fully equipped with the latest audio-visual aids and computers provided with internet access for the integration of technology in teaching methodologies. Modern Indian College of Education, Rewari offers both indoor and outdoor sports facilities for the physical development and recreation of the students. Annual athletic meets, organised by the institute, develop a spirit of sportsmanship among the students. A well-furnished auditorium has been provided as the venue for various college functions and events. There is a canteen that caters to the refreshment needs of students and staff.

Modern Indian College of Education runs two full-time courses in the field of education. The Bachelor of Education course, B.Ed., is a two-year program with an intake of 100 seats, aimed at building students for a teaching profession. Another two-year course is the Diploma in Elementary Education, D.El.Ed., which takes up 50 students and focuses on primary education. Of these, both are courses that strike a balance between theoretical knowledge and practical teaching skills for turning out graduates well-equipped to handle all situations that might be thrown up by the education sector. The total intake of students for all programs together is 150, thus upholding the commitment of the college to maintain a manageable student-to-faculty ratio for effective learning.        

The Modern Indian College of Education provides a centralized admission procedure based on state government guidelines. Admission to the B.Ed. course is conducted on a rotation basis by the University of Haryana and is done through counseling. The admission to the course of D.El.Ed. is entirely based on merits, considering the marks scored at the qualifying examination and/or the entrance examination conducted for admission, in accordance with the policy of the concerned state government.
