Modish Institute of Polytechnic, Punhana: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

Modish Institute of Polytechnic, Punhana, was once established in the year 2010; this is a co-educational college in Haryana, India. This institute, with an affiliation from All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), offers an approved number of diploma programs in the lines of engineering and medical field. The institute holds a bountiful 10-acre campus and, as of today, employs 34 strong faculties. 

It is known to be the institute that offers each and every learning facility to provide the best learning surrounding possible on its campus. Modish Institute of Polytechnic has different hostel accommodations for both boys and girls, which are well furnished to offer a comfortable stay for the residential students. The boys' hostel is fully furnished with all necessary facilities like beds, study tables, chairs, cupboards, while the facilities in the girls' hostel include centrally air-conditioning.

A well-stocked library functions as a centre of information. It has approximately 20,000 books, 100 volumes of journals that are bound, e-books, and multimedia packages. The college provides sports facilities for volleyball, football, chess, badminton, kabaddi, and cricket for the students' recreation and physical fitness. The institute also keeps itself connected through its two 1 Mbps internet connections, which are open 24 hrs for the students.

Modish Institute of Polytechnic imparts four full-time diploma courses, each of three years span. It includes the Diploma in Civil Engineering, Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, and Diploma in Medical Lab Technology. Each course has a sanctioned capacity of 60 students, hence in total, there are 240 sanctioned seats.                               

Admission to the Modish Institute of Polytechnic is done on merit pressure, where deserving students get to have a seat in the course of their own choice. This is an involved entrance system where 75% of the seats have been allowed through the Diploma Entrance Test (DET) and the other 25% of the seats are taken through a management quota system.
