Mohamed Sathak A.J. College of Nursing, Chennai, an affiliated college, came into existence in 2000 in Siruseri, Chennai. The institute is recognized affiliated the INC which oversees the delivery of quality education in nursing. Occupying a 7-acre land the college has expansion plan offering six courses under two degrees, with specialization on different facets of nursing. The total number of students intake has been estimated 185 including faculty 28 promote effective learning environment. The college currently provides 6 full time courses for students, both Bachelors and Masters. The Bachelor of Science of Nursing program is the flagship course of the institute and the masters’ degree programme focuses on areas such as community health nursing, medical surgical nursing, obstetrics and gynecological nursing, pediatric nursing and psychiatric nursing. The total approved intake for all courses is 65 Our seats include 50seats for B.Sc Nursing and 3seats for each M.Sc specialisation offered.
