Moamed Sathak College of Arts & Science for women is one of the leading institution situated in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India which was started in 1991. It is a NAAC accredited affiliated college approved by AICTE and is offering 45 programs in 12 degrees. The college occupies a campus of 10 acres and is home to 5,310 students and a teaching staff of 20. It strives to provide extensive academic services that encompass broad ranges of specialisations in arts, science, commerce, etc. 

The college has modern facilities to complement learning in order to facilitate achievement of the institution’s vision. This centre has a large main library which has stocked more than 25000 books and journals and many other information resources. The campus consists of boys and girls hostels; the boys hostel has a capacity of 450 students; which comprises of shuttle badminton court, gym. PRIE: The off-campus girls’ hostel suppliers free transport facilities to and from the college. Some other provisions are 600 sitting capacity programme hall with adequate audio visual aids, well-equipped laboratories, reconstructed and hygienically maintained canteen, serving balanced diet prepared by professional dieticians, and medical check-up center. The college also has well equipped IT infrastructure, Wi- fi facility and sports equipment necessary for an effective college and all round development of students.

Mohamed Sathak College of Arts and Science has various departments that have 45 courses to offer. The institution offers 31 undergraduate courses and 11 postgraduate courses and 3 M.Phil., 3 Ph.D. courses. B.Sc: Admissions in B.Sc programs such as Computer Science, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, and Mathematics are granted on 10+2 marks. Many science courses and specialized courses like Hotel and Catering Management and Visual Communication are available in the college.

BCA: The BCA course of Bachelor of Computer Applications admits students on the merit of 10+2 examination results. The course is also provided in the second shift to cater to more students.

BA: The college provides BA English courses, and admissions are on the basis of marks secured in the 10+2 examination.

MBA: Admissions to MBA are based on the marks obtained in the qualifying degree examination and marks in TANCET or the CET conducted by Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology, Chennai.

MCA: Similar to MBA, MCA admissions consider qualifying degree marks and marks in TANCET or the corresponding CET. The program has an approved intake of 60 students.

The Microbiology Department has state-of-the-art laboratories for Immunotechnology, Plant And Animal Tissue Culture, Bioprocess Technology, Molecular Biology/Genetic Engineering, Microbiology, And Bioinformatics. The college has a digital library that the faculty and students can use to expand their horizons. Near the college's main building is a 600-person auditorium WITH THE LCD Projector and elaborate audio setups make seminars and symposia efficient.
