Moamed Sathak College of Arts & Science for women is one of the leading institution situated in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India which was started in 1991. It is a NAAC accredited affiliated college approved by AICTE and is offering 45 programs in 12 degrees. The college occupies a campus of 10.3 acres and is home to 5,310 students and a teaching staff of 20. It strives to provide extensive academic services that encompass broad ranges of specialisations in arts, science, commerce, etc. Currently, the college has 70% male students and 30% female students insuring the college has an active student’s population.

The college has modern facilities to complement learning in order to facilitate achievement of the institution’s vision. This centre has a large main library which has stocked more than 25000 books and journals and many other information resources. The campus consists of boys and girls hostels; the boys hostel has a capacity of 450 students; which comprises of shuttle badminton court, gym. Mohamed Sathak College of Arts and Science has various departments that have 45 courses to offer. The institution offers 31 undergraduate courses and 11 postgraduate courses and 3 M.Phil., 3 Ph.D. courses. The following are some of its prominent courses in B.Com, B.Sc Computer Science, BCA and B.Sc Microbiology in the undergraduate level MBA, MCA and other M.Sc in the post graduate level. B.Sc Hotel & Catering Management and M.Sc Visual Communication are also some specialty programmes offered by the college. Mohamed Sathak College of Arts and Science follows the merit based system for its admission procedure. For the undergraduate programs an individual is admitted based on his /her performance in the 10+2 examination. Admissions to the postgraduate courses are based on the marks secured in the degree examination of the respective course. For professional courses that to of MBA and MCA, additional entrance examinations of TANCET the college accept scores from Anna University or CET Exam of Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology. 

Like any other college, the college accepts and processes applications for various courses in the different years; however, there are set dates for these applications depending on the course. First, scholarships: 41 undergraduate and 56 postgraduate students received reimbursements for the 2022 academic year.
