Mohanlal Verma Educational Institute, Barabanki was established in 2006 as there was a need for higher education in the Barabanki district. The institute offers various courses at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. These courses include BA, B.Com, B.Ed, MA and M.Com courses. The duration of these courses ranges from 2 to 3 years. MVEI Barabanki admission is done based on marks obtained in previous qualification examinations. 

Affiliated with  Dr Ram Manohar Lohia Avadh University, Faizabad, Mohanlal Verma Educational Institute offers various facilities for its students such as drinking water facilities and sports facilities.
