Moran Commerce College came into existence in 1993, it is an affiliated college located at Moran Notun Nagar, Dibrugarh (Assam). It is a co-educational institution whose main mission is to deliver quality Commerce education to the students in a given region. Located on 10 acre land the college provides an environment that favours learning and growth. Total No of Students that the Moran Commerce College caters is 88 and the faculty members that are deeply committed for teaching is 9 numbers only hence the college offers personal care to its students. 

The college has many amenities to improve on the learning process of the learners; Established in the year 2004, the library was officially blessed by Mr. Sarbananda Sonowal, a former central minister, who inaugurated the library. It boasts of a library containing a good number of books that is being categorized according to type and subjects being paraded in commerce and business studies. They can also circulate books with their library cards and make use of a reading room which is associated with the library, and contains the newspapers and journals. This facility is very instrumental in supplementing academic activities of the students as well as promote culture of reading and researching. Besides, the college library and online resources, the college has facilities for sports activities, so that the student should not only study, but also be physically active. Moran Commerce College at the moment has only one fully accredited programme for a full time undergraduate – Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com). This degree program is one of the broad-based courses that take three years to complete to equip the students with both width and depth knowledge in commerce, business and finance. 

Thus, the total students intake for this program is 88 college to ensure quality education and maintain favorable student teacher ratio. The breakdown of the specializations is not well articulated although the B.Com programme includes syllabi in areas such as accounting, economics, business law, taxation, management and any other related area that prepares students in the commerce discipline for various careers in the business world.
