Main campus of Mother Terasa Polytechnic College was set up in 2006 and it is an affiliated college in Pudukkottai in the state of Tamil Nadu. This AICTE recognized polytechnic is located at a large campus area measuring 100 acres, they offer Diplomas in Engineering branches. Currently the college offers a total of 790 students intake while the faculty is composed of 55 Multi Talented Faculties which create a conducive environment for students in technical studies. There five diploma courses which the institute provide, and all the courses are full time, the specialisations are in the field of engineering. The college’s canteen which occupies a large area can accommodate up to 150 students and offers South and North Indian foods at reasonable price.

At Mother Terasa Polytechnic College we have five full time diploma courses, each for three years duration. Among them are diploma in civil engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Electronics and Computer Engineering and computer engineering. The total intake approved in all the courses is three hundred and sixty students in a single year while Mechanical Engineering approving the highest number, hundred and twenty. Thus, all programs are aimed at the development of the required competencies, necessary for successful work in the engineering field.
