Moulana Abul Kalam Azad College of Education, Murshidabad was founded in 2013. The College is Co-Educational, Affiliated, and Permitted by the NCTE. It is located in Gobindapur village, Murshidabad District of West Bengal. It has two specialized courses in education with an enrolment of 400 students.

The college has ample amenities to assist the students in all ways possible. A well-equipped library acts as the knowledge center for the upcoming teachers. Sports facilities are available in the campus, facilitating the students to be physically fit and inculcate a sense of team spirit amongst themselves. An auditorium provides space for events and seminars that help create a vibrant academic atmosphere. Health The College takes proper care of the health of its students by providing a first-aid facility in its health centre. Hostel The college has separate hostels for boys and girls who hail from out-of-town areas. The institution is also equipping itself with the latest IT infrastructure so that students may use technology integration in education to the best possible extent. 

Moulana Abul Kalam Azad College of Education offers two full-time courses that bring out the hopes for aspiring educators. In the culmination process, learners shall be equipped with adequate skills and knowledge to become successful practicing teachers. 

Admission to Moulana Abul Kalam Azad College of Education will strictly be based on merit, marks obtained in the qualifying examination and/or at the entrance examination. The college shall adhere very strictly to the stipulations enunciated by the State Govt. of West Bengal and the affiliated University regarding admission.
