MPS Shiksha Mahavidhyalaya located at Gwalior, has started its journey from 2009 it is one of the famous teacher education institutes in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh. This co-educational college is an affiliated college under NCTE and is NAAC accredited institution as well. Located at Baraus, Rairu, the College provides four focused programmes in education that aims at preparing teachers at different tiers. In view of providing quality education and training in the teaching profession, MPS Shiksha Mahavidhyalaya has emerged as an important centre for education.

MPS Shiksha Mahavidhyalaya has packaged its physical infrastructure from the most basic facility that seeks to improve the students learning ability. An all-weather sports ground in the school compound provides for soccer, hockey, tennis, and cricket, as well as for track and field. For indoor games and sports hobby a moderate Gym facility is accredited to the institute which includes hall for Table Tennis, Chess & Carom. The institute has officially affiliated hostels for boys and girls students respectively so that students can stay comfortably. Four wings along with a central library which contains 11,492 books and 26 journals are helping students and faculty members a lot. The library is being modernised and the facility is connected with Broadband Internet. The following criteria are used for the selection of students aspiring to join D.El.Ed programme, conducting qualification examination or entrance examination as per the norms of the state government or UT administration.

MPS Shiksha Mahavidhyalaya has stringent infrastructure requirement to support its educational programmes. The Educational Technology Lab comprises computers connected to the internet, overhead projectors, televisions, educational CDs and ‘Smart Class’ equipment. Psychology Lab contains several tests and latest apparatuses connected to Educational Psychology for B.Ed and M.Ed students. Further, to support the knowledge acquired in class, they have functional Science and Language Labs to enhance practical lessons. These facilities when coupled with the colleges emphasis on teacher education make this a complete experimental setting for prospective teachers.
