The institute for education of teachers MPS Shiksha Mahavidhyalaya is one of the most reputed teacher education institutes in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh. The college offers four action programs, specializing in education, for training teachers at various levels. Admission is granted through transference at MPS Shiksha Mahavidhyalaya of qualified persons into the teacher education programs, Every year, admission guidelines set by the state and affiliated universities are generally followed by the institute. Most of the admissions for the programs are merit-based according to the marks obtained in the qualifying examination and/or entrance examinations. Degree wise Admission Process

B.Ed.: At MPS Shiksha Mahavidhyalaya, the B.Ed. program admits up to 100 students per year. Admission is based on merit, taking into account the marks obtained in the qualifying examination and/or relevant entrance examination. The selection process follows the regulations laid down by the state government and the university

M.Ed.: The M.Ed. program consists of 50 seats, with admission on the basis of merit. Assessment is likely to have been made on the basis of under-graduate results and related entrance examinations.

Integrated B.Ed. M.Ed.: Admissions to this 50-seater integrated program are strictly as per the rules and procedures laid down by the State Government. This program is on a first-come, first-serve basis, so it would be beneficial if an interested applicant applies as early as possible.

D.El.Ed.: The D.El.Ed. program admits a maximum of 100 students per annum. As in the case of the B.Ed. program, admission is purely on merit with reference to qualifying examination or entrance examination. Government policy of either Government of the state or UT Administration governs the process.
