MSB Arts and Commerce Cpollege was founded in the year of 1983 in Davangere, Karnataka India; this college is affiliated college. Situated on a compact 1.25-acre campus, this institution offers two undergraduate programmes, BA and B.Com. National Assessment and Accreditation Council NAAC has accredited the college, thereby, showing concern over the quality education. The college offers a good student and faculty ratio with total intake of 712 students and 8 faculties in MSB Arts and Commerce College. It has specialisation in Arts and Commerce stream welcoming students keen to build a solid academic base in these courses.

MSB Arts and Commerce College has many amenities to improve students’ learning process and their leisure time. It was set up in the year 1983 to cater to the need of students and staff to have their own library with 25093 books costing Rs 1846372. It sponsors 15 journals, two electronic journals and 15 magazines for the consumption of the students as readers. At present, ten computers are available for students and staff with 500 GB hard disk, LAN, USB and digital learning systems in the college. There are sporting fields for student’s physical and overall development, and an auditorium that is used for occasions and seminars. The college also provides Wi-fi facility, a cafeteria and a guest house for the visiting faculty and the student’s kin. The alumni association has an active role and was described to have social events, an alumni annual magazine, and solicits funds for welfare of the students.

MSB Arts and Commerce College offers two full-time undergraduate courses, B.A and B.Com both are of three years tenure. To these programmes, the total approved intake is 300 students for BA and 120 students for B.Com. This type of admission policy makes the college to enrol average number of student which is important in assuring quality provision of education in areas of specialisation.
