An affiliated college, MSCM Government College, Thural, was set up in 1988 in Kangra district of Himachal Pradesh. This institution has been responding to the educational demands of the region for more than thirty years as a government financial institution. The college occupies a beautiful piece of land of 6 acres of land and is situated in a quiet area, which is favourable to learning. At present, 130 students and 8 faculty members teach in MSCM Government College assuring adequate individual attention to students with an optimised students-faculty ratio.

MSCM Government College promotes quality education to the student and has various amenities that are useful to the college students. For sports enthusiasts, the college will provide numerous chances of practicing their hobby as the college contains varieties of facilities for the sports-talented learners. MSCM Government College, Thural, offers three full-time undergraduate programmes. These include Bachelor of Arts (BA), Bachelor of Science (B.Sc), and Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com). All these programmes take three years to complete thus giving complete understanding in the area of specialisation chosen. The college have a total student admission capacity of 130 which is a proof of the fact that it serves the purpose of serving as a befitting learning institution without compromising with the physical facility.
