MSME Rohtak
Ministry of Micro Small Medium Enterprises (MSME) under its flagship program Technology Centres Systems Programme (TCSP) with the World Bank assistance program has set a total of 15 new Technology Centres (which was earlier known as the Tool Room and Training Centres) at the various parts of the country with an estimated project cost of Rs 2,200 crores. One MSME Technology Centre with an investment of 100+ crore is in the heart of Haryana - Rohtak.
MSME Rohtak offers Diploma courses in various disciplines and programs offered at MSME Rohtak are available in full-time mode only. Diploma courses available at MSME Rohtak are the Advanced Diploma in Tool & Die Making and Diploma in Mechatronics. These courses at MSME Rohtak are delivered by highly experienced faculty. Courses available at MSME are approved by AICTE. The total seat intake is 120 and the MSME course fee is quite nominal.
This Technology Centre also provides Consultancy in the field of Engineering solutions (development of jigs and fixtures for machining, welding etc), Design support (product design), Project consultancy (Curriculum development, trainers, community colleges etc), Quality system super, and low-cost automation support and productivity improvement.
The MSME Rohtak campus is constructed on 19 acres of land, It consists Production Block, a Training Block, a Separate Hostel for Boys and Girls, a Canteen, etc. MSME Rohtak has state of art facilities which include CNC, EDM, Wire Cut, 3D Scanner, Surface grinding AR/ VR lab, etc.
