According to reports, the TS EAMCET 2024 exam is likely to be renamed TS EAPCET or TS EPACET.
The entrance exam (TS EAMCET) required for admission to the MJCET Hyderabad BE programme will be conducted in May.

MJ College Hyderabad admission to BE/B.Tech course is based on the scores of the entrance test- TS EAMCET or TSECET (for lateral entry diploma holders). Candidates have to register online, apply and appear for the Telangana State Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test (TS EAMCET) conducted by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad.
Based on the marks secured in class 10+12 and TS EAMCET with a weightage of 25% and 75% respectively, the MJCET Hyderabad TS EAMCET cutoff will be released and candidates have to meet the cutoff requirement.
Further, based on the marks secured in TS EAMCET, candidates must participate in the online counselling process of TS EAMCET conducted by the Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE).
Final admission will be based on the marks secured in the entrance test, participation in the counselling process, seat allotment, document verification and fee payment.
Candidates must apply and appear for the Telangana State Engineering Common Entrance Test (TS ECET) conducted by the Government of Telangana.
Candidates who qualify for the entrance test and secure a valid rank will further have to participate in the TS ECET counselling process.
Final admission will be based on the marks secured in TS ECET, participation in the TS ECET counselling process, document verification and fee payment.

Candidates will have to apply and appear for the Post Graduate Common Entrance Test (PGECET) conducted by Osmania University. (Note: GATE scores are also accepted for admissions).
Further, candidates who have qualified for the (TS PGECET/GATE) and meet the MJCET Hyderabad cutoff requirement will have to participate in the counselling process for choice filling and seat allotment, fee payment and document verification.
MJ College Hyderabad admission will only be offered to students based on merit, choice filling, document verification and fee payment during the counselling process.
Candidates are required to visit the respective entrance test portal (TS EAMCET/ TS ECET and others) to attend the counselling at all India levels. During counselling, candidates are required to choose the desired specialisation of BE/M.Tech courses and after clearing the cutoff, they are allotted seats.
