Chandigarh University Admissions 2025

Hello Sharth
I would prefer you to prepare for 5 years integrated program from IIM Indore. As IIM has its own brand name.It provides the chance of making it to the IIM when the competition is extremely less. While almost 2.1 lakh students appeared for CAT in 2018, only about 18,000 appeared for the IPM test in the same year. Comparing it with the B.Tech graduates who pursue an MBA after engineering and spend 6 years in doing so, IPM saves the students’ one year as it gets completed within a matter of 5 years.
So its better to do IPM instead of doing B.com (//B.com) from any reputed college.
Hope This Helps
Good Luck!

hi,
narsee monji institute of management studies located in mumbai is deemed university. admission for mba courses is done on the basis of NMAT exam. nmat by gmac is a popular entrance test as basis on its scores NMIMS mumbai and other 20 management college provides admission for mba courses.

https://science.nmims.edu/academics/programs/msc-phd/biological-sciences/
hope it would help.
hey,
you have moderate chances, as previous years cut off was around 208. but keeping in mind that this year question is tough you may have got call for gd or pi.
so keep preparing. hope it would help.
First of all, to be eligible to apply for admission for the BFM course, you should have passed class XII from Maharashtra state board or any other board with an aggregate of minimum 45%. It is not compulsory to have a commerce background to get admission in this course.
As regards the procedure, first you apply on the mumbai university website. There you make your account and from their you can apply to various colleges and courses as per your choice. Thereafter, you have to physically go to the colleges where you want admission to submit the necessary documents like 10th and 12th marksheet, passing certificate, etc.
Once your documents are submitted, you wait for the merit lists to come out. There is NO entrance required. Usually about 5-6 merit lists come out and if your name is there in any of those, you again have to go to NMIMS college and confirm your admission.
Best wishes. Thank you
If you always aimed for top 3 or max top 5 B-Schools of India, NMIMS is not the one you should settle for, but if you were willing to take admission in any of top 15 B-Schools of India NMIMS is completely worth it.
NMIMS is one of the established B-Schools of India, has been there for 35 years. It has quite significant industry reputation, vast alumni base, very good faculty and excellent placements. Thanks to its location in Mumbai it provides immense corporate exposure, much more than you can get at other any other comparative B-School situated in remote areas. It is known for Marketing, Finance, IT and Operations. If you are seeking general management roles, companies do come and offer such roles but given a batch size of 500 only a handful people get it. You will get ample opportunities to learn and experiment, competition would be neck to neck because of all general candidates but Placements are 100% for sure.
ROI, yes it's more expensive than any other B-School of its league and offers same placements but the thing that makes it more expensive is living in Mumbai on your own rather than the fees. So, if one can wait one more year to get into IIM-ABCL, XLRI etc. that's fine but waiting an year to get into similar college again then opportunity lost is bigger than paying 2-3 lakhs more. If you join NMIMS you will definitely pay higher fees but in the long term when you have achieved big in life and think about these 2-3 lakhs it won't be such a big deal.
NMIMS is definitely a very good college and I would give a aye. If one is not having any better options and given the profile if it's almost impossible to get a call from top 5 colleges and one can't wait more, NMIMS is the college for him/her.
its pretty good but we don have campus so that’s frustrating but the classes are v good with smartboards and air conditioners and even charging plugs. the wifi is bad af, it doesn’t for our campus even tho we are ai kids
good infrastructure, we have centralized ac everywhere which doesnt work sometimes. we have 8 lifts and 2 entrances, 4 lifts for each entrance. The cafeteria is on the lower ground floor which provides exceptionally tasty food. Must try: Chole Bhature.
A college's infrastructure significantly impacts your academic journey. Look for spacious, well-equipped classrooms and relevant lab facilities. A well-stocked library with study spaces and research tools is essential. If living on campus, consider dorm options, room amenities, and overall safety. Explore the presence of computer labs, an auditorium, sports facilities, and healthcare resources. Finally, evaluate campus maintenance, eco-friendliness, Wi-Fi connectivity, and the overall positive and stimulating environment.
