Hi Aspirant,
The business analytics program offered by NMIMS is provided in collaboration with UpGrad. It’s an MBA executive course in business analytics. There are also good institutes that offer business analytics course, such as Great Learning, Learnbay, and Simplilearn.
The real experience of this program:
The course is claimed to have +200 learning hours, but that are not hours of efficient learning due to the large batch size. The classes are live, but the interaction with the faculty members is inefficient. You need domain expertise to land a job in your desired field, this course does not provide domain related expertise for everyone.
The enrollment of the eligibility is quite common 55% in all graduation, 12th and 10th. Anyone from a particular domain is preferred. 3 years or 2 years of work experience is mandatory to join this course.
The technical support team is available from 9 am to 9pm all day. The doubt resolution classes are held only on weekends which makes it less efficient to resolve the doubts then and there. The faculty members are from NMIMS so they are teaching faculty which might get ineffective during interview preparation.
The industry projects are beginners friendly and the projects are interesting to perform. Even with the group projects, but still in online learning with a large number of students it seems dicey to get a proper output of industry projects. In business analytics it is essential to get exposure of domain oriented project experience for better understanding of the subject and the course.
Job assistance is still a question. After course completion the job referrals would be done and that will give a good direction to students career is still a doubt. To get a job in a desired industry is the top priority of the candidate. If you do not get a placement you need to get domain experience. That is necessary to apply for a job outside the institute.
You can see all the drawbacks and advantages of this program. Every course has drawbacks. But your money is earned from hard work. You should invest in a course after doing good research. It’s important that you gain industry knowledge with a comfortable form of learning. There is one such institute that is best known for providing industry expertise with job referrals guarantee. Learnbay is the institute for domain specialization with a certification from.
There are many institutes that offer certification from great institutions, but for the employers it's just an attractive feature in your resume. You should focus on getting real industry experience and practical knowledge. Practical knowledge is everything from you will be tested and work in great MNCs in the future.
All the best.

Hi Pranshu,
I can see You've got a decent NMAT score in your first attempt. As far as NMIMS Mumbai is concerned, you maybe able to clear the overall cutoff but your sectional scores need a bit of upgradation. As we can see the previous year cutoff for Nmims Mumbai was 235 with sectional scores of 76 in each section. So a bunch of students were not able to fetch the call even after scoring 250+ scores because of their low sectional scores. But the best part of NMAT is that you can give it 3 times and thus I suggest you to take this opportunity and try ro improve your sectional scores along with the overall. I'm sure your would be able to crack it. You just need a improvement in QS and you are good to go.
ALL THE BEST:)
Heyy Nikitha,
The expected cut-off for NMAT this year is somewhere between 205-250 overall. Talking about each sections, it is 79+ for Logical Reasoning, 73+ for Quantitative Aptitude and 85+ for Language Skills. Even though you fall in the safe bracket, if we consider your over-all score. But these are expected cut-offs. So it will be better to take a reattempt.

Hi,
I hope you are doing well!
NPAT offers admissions to multiple courses and thus eligibility criteria vary for each course.
Eligibility Criteria :
It is mandatory for the candidates to pass the qualifying examination in one attempt. A single mark sheet displaying marks of all compulsory subjects is mandatory. A compartmentalized mark sheet won’t be considered.
Exam Duration was of 1 hour 40 minutes (20 minutes lesser than previous years) in 2018. You need to be super fast in this exam, as you get only 100 minutes to answer 120 questions. This exam has no negative marking for any wrong or unattempted response.
There is no such cut-off for NPAT. However, a score of 95–105 should easily get you the MBA+B. Pharma Course. Considering you attempted all the questions with an accuracy of 85%.
Even a score of 75+ will get you a rank well within 1500 which is pretty good. One thing more, your marks won't be displayed on the official website, you will be allotted a merit rank based on your marks.
I hope this helps!
Hi,
Officially, obviously no. There are no institutions in this world that allows bunking & I hope you know that but then again, you are in college & nobody will forcefully make you attend classes like in school so you are free to do whatever you want but make sure whatever you do should not hamper your education & reputation in the college.
All the best! Have fun responsibly.
Dear Student,
You don't need Maths as a compulsory subject to take admission in MBA course.
You just need to complete your 12th from any stream then choose any UG course to to complete your graduation, I'll recommend you to choose BBA if you want to go into MBA.
After that seek admission in MBA college, you may try some entrance exams to take admission in MBA course like CAT, CMAT, XAT etc.
List of some top colleges are-
Good Luck :)
Hi
It is difficult to say how much marks is required to get admission in NMIMS Mumbai as there is no specific rank which is will guarantee your admission in this college.
You are selected on the basis of 2 parameters which are 12th standard marks and all india CLAT ranking and you will be given a merit number. The candidate with low merit numbers will be selected one by one until the seats are filled. Therefore someone with AIR 1500 and 90% in boards and someone with AIR 2000 and 94 % in boards have the same chance in getting selected.
But try to get a rank between 1 to 3000 anything more than that will make things difficult.

Hope this helps
its pretty good but we don have campus so that’s frustrating but the classes are v good with smartboards and air conditioners and even charging plugs. the wifi is bad af, it doesn’t for our campus even tho we are ai kids
good infrastructure, we have centralized ac everywhere which doesnt work sometimes. we have 8 lifts and 2 entrances, 4 lifts for each entrance. The cafeteria is on the lower ground floor which provides exceptionally tasty food. Must try: Chole Bhature.
A college's infrastructure significantly impacts your academic journey. Look for spacious, well-equipped classrooms and relevant lab facilities. A well-stocked library with study spaces and research tools is essential. If living on campus, consider dorm options, room amenities, and overall safety. Explore the presence of computer labs, an auditorium, sports facilities, and healthcare resources. Finally, evaluate campus maintenance, eco-friendliness, Wi-Fi connectivity, and the overall positive and stimulating environment.
