My college campus is built on the outskirts of shirpur city . Its infrastructure is spread on a large land. It provides air conditioned smart board to every classroom. All labs are well equipped with required equipment and well maintained. We have 2 storey library consisting a very large no. Of books for students of every field. Wifi is available 24x7 throughout the campus. Sports is played on regular basis, we have a large ground. Hostel and mess both are clean and hygiene and maintained.
I am studying btech computer engineering with objective to become an software developer. Quality of education is good. Teachers try their best to acknowledge every detail. Every 3 months a review is taken by management about teachers from student which help in improving the way of teaching.teachers never support someone personallly they treat everyone equally.Subject material is changed every year with analysis of present technology. Yes it makes a student eligible for a job in the future.
Every year Placement companies arrive at my college with hopes and most of them arent disappointed. Students do their best and bag average of 8lpa and some for higher. Some vouch for mumbai campus placement thus giving more opportunity for our students almost 90 percent students get placed every year. College is always supportive, our placement manager takes full responsibility of training students with communication skills interview skills and motivate us all. Highest package usually goes to c.s
A total of around 3.5 lakh is spent for a year in campus, which is bit much for students. I feel its not worth it considering most of it spends on infrastructure and its maintenance. Education is average considering other colleges and exams conducted are too simple ones. So i believe its not worth enough
Campus life is good. College usually starts at 10 and takes break at 12 for lunch and rest classes go up to 3 or 5 depends on schedule. Students head for sports like basketball, badminton ,swimming, cricket, football, chess. There is a gym for students to workout. The college is ragging free but an introduction is done by seniors which is temporary. Students and teacher are supportive and trustworthy. Students and staff are cooperative. For emergency we contact our assigned mentors, who help us.
Overall college is good yet, needs alot improvement. Discipline is there but still lacks management. It needs more cooperation from students. Events should be encouraged more and college should plan out events on large scale with everything. Other than that level of exams is very low. People without efforts gain very good marks and arent that good in practicals. It needs improvement as teachers need to be more strict with it
Being a part SVKM NMIMS, the infrastructure is well built with great amneties. Canteen is huge and is jain/pure veg and fully hygenic and the taste of the food is also good. Classrooms are air conditioned, have wifi facilities and also smart boards. Library has wide variety of books. Hostel facilty is awesome.
I was a computer engineer student currently shifted to Mumbai campus for MBA. The faculties are highly qualified. The teaching is also worthy and good. They really prepare us well for working in the industry. Curriculum is fully updated as per our requirements.
Placement is average actually. I haven't participated in the process though but my classmates did participate. Average placement is around 3.5 to 4 lpa. Many companies come for the placement but the package varies from 3 to 4 lpa.
My course costs around 4.3 lakh per year. Sometimes, I feel like it's a bit high but then it's obvious the infrastructure, amneties, facilities and the quality provided by them is high. Placements are okay.
If you make good friends, you will have an amazing campus life. Yes, the location is safe and it can handle emergencies. Teachers and students are always supportive and helpful. There are many fun and interesting events taking place through out the year.
Overall it's a good college. If one has enough money, then you can definitely opt for this college. One can learn a lot, not only academic wise but also interpersonal and intrapersonal skills which are very important for working in any industry.
Hi Vartika
The answer to you question if you ask in simple words is NO. You can not take transfer in second year from one university to another, you will have to reappear for admission test and procedures and start all again if from first year if you really want to change your university. However, if you want to change your course and study in your same university then it may happen but it is very very difficult rather I would say it is almost impossible, you can request your university management if they would consider your demand to change your course (which they are most likely to refuse) only then something can happen . You can not go to any other university just by getting transferred in second year.
I hope this answer resolved your query.
Narsee Monjee , Christ and Symbiosis are some of the best colleges in the country . Studing in these colleges in one of the best opportunities that you can get . The fees is hefty though, as compared to other colleges. I would suggest you to take admission in Du colleges which are the top most collegees for economics. However these colleges also have good environment , opportunities and peer group.
Hello aspirant,
Hope you are doing absolutely great.
So, with regard to your query, the fee structure for BSc economics in Narsee Monjee College is INR 67.93k per three years. However, this is only the tuition fee, the hostel fee is again different., it depends upon the accommodation you choose.
Hope this helps you,
Thank you.
