Mula Education Society's Sharda College of Pharmacy, Ahmednagar: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

The private pharmacy college that has established recently in 2019 is the Sharda College of Pharmacy, affiliated to Mula Education Society, Ahmednagar. This affiliated college is in Sonai, Ahmednagar district of Maharashtra, PCI and AICTE approved. The institute is located in a campus area of only 3.5 acres which provides an excellent learning atmosphere for the students who wish to become pharmacists. Total Intake capacity of the college is 60 students and faculty strength including principal is 4, thus the college gives the education and nursing care feel in their Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharma) course. 

Sharda College of Pharmacy has a variety of amenities intended to promote the students’ performance and personality development. Located on an area of 109.84 sq. ft., the library is among the important learning resource centres on the campus. It boasts of a stock of 3557 books, and has 10 members subscribing to Scientific National and International Journals, books that are easily accessible in case of research. A library at the school can sit more than 40 students at a time hence being the perfect place for students to concentrate on their lessons. For physical health and recreation, the prospect of the campus are provided with amenities such as cricket, football, volley ball, etc. All these amenities apply a multidimensional approach in the development of students with keen effort on balancing between the academic and the physical talents. 

Though there are a number of colleges affiliated under Mula Education Society, Sharda College of Pharmacy right now only has one course which is Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharma). This is a full course undergraduate programme that takes four calendar years of study and the college has an approved capacity of 60 students intake. The college is unique in that its main focus is the pharmaceutical programme, this enable special and individual attention is paid to teaching the students everything about pharmaceuticals. From the current data the absolute number of graduates cannot be determined due to relatively young age of the college; however, the institution aims to produce well-trained pharmacy specialists. 

The admission process to enrol in any programme offered in Mula Education Society’s Sharda College of Pharmacy is kept as simple as possible. Though date and admission schedules for examinations are called out for different programmes, they haven’t been mentioned, however, interested learners are advised to contact the college for further details. Since it has been established recently the college is yet to develop an alumni base as well as scholarship schemes. 

Sharda College of Pharmacy under Mula Education Society comprises of both boys and girls separate hostels on the campus which has the accommodation capacity of 40 students each. These hostels are fitted with furniture, electricity backup, entertainment halls, sports amenities and eating halls hence making comfort and conducive environment to students. On-campus accommodation is another feature of the college appealing mostly to the students from other regions. Thus, young Mula Education Society’s Sharda College of Pharmacy is attempting to offer good pharmaceutical education. Projected continuously based on student welfare, modern facilities and the focused curriculum of the college it is expected to play a major role in the enhancement of the pharmaceutical sector by producing a crop of talented professionals.
