Muthayammal College of Engineering (MCE), offering undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, was started in the year of 2000 in Kakkaveri, Rasipuram, Namakkal District, Tamil Nadu. This affiliated college recognised by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) has been preparing future engineers for more than twenty winter. MCE is located over a large of land of 13 acres and the college is offering various branches of engineering education to 755 students. The college takes pride in having a highly motivated and qualified faculty of 83 members to assist in providing quality education and good student-teacher ratio.

MCE has all sorts of facilities that are needed by students to improve their academic performances as well as in their overall personality. The college’s central library, a storehouse of knowledge, has a collection of over 11585 books and 2300 titles, and the institutional members are provided with 50 national journal, 20 International iournal and 25 national & international magazine. Some of the elements, such as the library’s division into digital and physical sections and the barcode system of book exchange, proves the library’s orientation on the modern media. While embracing this outcome, MCE continues to support a variety of sports facilities for those with interest in the activities having interior and exterior faculties, which include an interior stadium and multi-gym. To promote student’s health, the college has also offered the institution’s health centre that offers first aid.
