MV College, Buxar was established in the year 1958 at Charitrawan, Buxar, Bihar. Hons in Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology and Mathematics and BA in History, Political Science, Psychology, Philosophy, Economics, Hindi, English, and Sanskrit; and B.Com in Accountancy. In the postgraduate level it offers MA in Psychology, History, Political Science and Hindi.
