Established in the year 2000, MVJCE-Department of Management studies offers a 2 year full time MBA program affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Government of Karnataka. The Department is also recognised as a research center by VTU. The Department of Management studies has been awarded the B++ rating in All India B-School Survey by Business & Management Chronicle for the year 2013, by Business & Management Chronicle, January 2013. It has also been ranked among the Top 125 B-schools in India by The Week 2011. The Department of Management Studies is also recognised a research center by VTU. The program offers the below combinations for dual specialisation in each semester during the third and fourth semesters: Finance & Marketing Finance & HR Marketing & HR.

Eligibility Criteria

Requirements for joining MBA Program
If you are someone who is methodical in everything that you do and analyze everything critically, someone who thinks on his feet, then MBA is just right for you.Besides this, all Indian students applying for the MBA program must fulfill the following requirements:
a) PGCET Quota Students:
- Must be a Graduate (in any stream) from a recognized College or University, securing a minimum of 50% aggregate.
- Must have cleared PGCET examination.
- Students who are in the Final year of their Degree program can also apply.
b) Management Quota Direct Admission students:
- Must be a Graduate (in any stream) from a recognized College or University, securing a minimum of 50% aggregate.
- Must have cleared any one of the following entrance examinations: GMAT/CAT/MAT/IBSAT.
- Students who are in the Final year of their Degree program can also apply.
c) Students in the SC/ST and CAT1, 2A, 2B, 3A and 3B categories:
- Must be a Graduate (in any stream) from a recognized College or University, securing a minimum of 45% aggregate.
- Must have cleared PGCET examination.
- Students who are in the Final year of their Degree program can also apply.

Admission Details

Admission to MVJCE Post-Graduate programmes may be obtained through the Post Graduate Karnataka Common Entrance Test (PGCET) examination and selection process or through the Management admission process.

Post Graduate Common Entrance Test

The Karnataka Post Graduate Common Entrance Test is conducted in the month of April/ May every year. Students wishing to obtain admission to colleges affiliated to VTU have to write the PGCET test. Based on the ranking obtained by the student in the PGCET, admission may be obtained during the PGCET counselling process.

Management Admission Process

Karnataka and Non-Karnataka students wishing to seek admission into the MBA Programme through the Management admission process are requested to contact the admission cell at the college campus directly and obtain the admission application form.

The selection process will be purely based on academic merit and aptitude of the student.

College Infrastructure

College infrastructure is very attractive with laboratories and library and a very spacious parking. But hostels are expensive. Classrooms are clean, and washrooms are also very clean. canteen facility is there.
