Nadar Saraswathi College of Arts and Science, Theni was established in 1996, affiliated college situated in Theni, Tamil Nadu, India. Established and recognised by: NAAC Accredited & approved by AICTE New Delhi, the institute spread across 10 acres offers 41 courses in 13 degree. The college occupies 18.77 acres of land, and its total student population consists of 2,674 of them, and the faculty and staff number 253 people. The college has a rich and diverse enrolment profile, with 87 percent of undergraduate and 13 percent of postgraduate students, of which 99 percent are first generation learners from the state.

Nadar Saraswathi College of Arts and Science lays down various amenities that seek to improve the quality of life in the college. The campus has a good library with the latest amenities and well-equipped with a cool environment. Sport activities for those with such interest include indoor and outdoor playing areas and special coaches for games. The IT facilities are well developed: there are 400 systems and 4 IBM servers located in a central computer centre. Transportation is also fully provided in this college through 23 buses and 1 Van for travelling. Other facility include two air-conditioned language Laboratory, Cafeteria, Health Centre and a Students’ shop.

Eligible Course offered at Nadar Saraswathi College of Arts and: Scinece includes a full range of disciplines. The institute offers 41 various courses: both undergraduate and postgraduate ones. The colleges other main courses are MCA of 27 seats, MBA having 54 seats and several other courses under the stream of BA, B.Sc and B.Com. There are also M.Sc, M.Com, MA, M.Phil programme offered in the college for the students. Further, diploma and post graduate diploma courses majoring in areas such as Web Designing, Bioinformatics and Fashion Design and Technology are offered.

Admission to Nadar Saraswathi College of Arts and Science institutions is principally done on merit basis but in line with the Government of Tamil Nadu regulations. However, the college follows TANCET (Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test) for some of its post graduate courses such as MBA, MCA etc. Admission to the institutes is clear and fair for everyone, and all those aspiring to study are welcome to apply. 

The college has provided grant facilities to cater for deserving students through scholarships. Some of the beneficiaries in the current academic year were 567 under graduate students and 12 post graduate students who claimed reimbursement and prove that the institute is struggling to make education cheaper. Although details of the scholarship are not given this is a financial support system which forms part of the college’s welfare services.
