Najath Arts and Science College, Palakkad: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

One of the recently established colleges is Najath Arts and Science College located in Palakkad, Kerala, which started its work in 2014 year. This affiliated college is located in a 5-acre and provides a number of courses to enable students fulfill their dreams. The college has currently 841 students in its rolls and a teaching staff of 43 teachers, so there is a perfect atmosphere for learning as well as personality development. Najath Arts and Science College teaches 11 subjects in seven degree courses offered in specialisations including Commerce, Business Administration, Computer Applications, Economics, English, Psychology, & Maths.

Najath Arts and Science College has a number of modern facilities to support powerful educational process among students. Richly endowed with modern teaching aids and learning facilities, an efficient library stands as the repository of various academic information reformation. This has been achieved through the impressive IT support demonstrated by the college to support its students taps into the latest technology in their fields of specialisation. For extra curricular activities and functions, as a part of accommodation facility, the college has a spacious auditorium. It also has functional laboratory facilities to enable practical skills in demonstrating training exercises. Sport lovers should take advantage of the college sports amenities and this will help in the promotion of organised and team sport. Moreover, the college provides campus health with a health centre that offers embodiments of first aid and limited medical services.

Neither does Najath Arts and Science College offer undergraduate and postgraduate degree programmes in all disciplines. The college offers 9 undergraduate full courses and 2 postgraduate courses, 11 courses in total, all to cater for the growing needs of different sectors. The college has been allowed to admit students to the following totals in all courses; 345 this is in an effort to keep a healthy student/teachers ratio. The favourite ones are B.Com Finance and B.Com Computer Applications for which we take 60 admissions, next are BBA and BA Economics taking 40 admissions. It also caters BCA with enrolled students of 32 and BA English with 32 students enrolled. At the postgraduate level there are two courses – M.Com and M.Sc in Psychology with a student intake of 15 students for M.Com and 10 students for M.Sc Psychology.

The admission policy formulated at Najath Arts and Science College is most robust in a manner that every deserving candidate gets the chance to choose their preferred courses. Though certain years are not put down, intending students are urged to visit the college site or call the admission office frequently for information relating to admission dates and processes. Most of the college’s students seek to have an equivalent education hence, the college acknowledges academic performance as a key parameter towards admission to any programme in the college.
