Nanasaheb Mahadik Polytechnic Institute is a reputed technical institute in Sangli, Maharashtra, established in 2009. This institution provides a wide range of diploma programs under the Engineering arena, situated within a large campus of 5 acres. The NMPI institute has been approved by the AICTE and works as an affiliated college. With a total student enrolment of 534 and faculty strength of 43, the learning environment is further enhanced for the aspiring engineers. NMPI offers five different specialised diploma programmes in branches like Mechanical, Electrical, Computer, Civil, Electronics and Telecommunications.

NMPI maintains separate boys' hostel accommodation and girls' hostel accommodation, each having an intake capacity of 150 students. The hostels have amenities like purified drinking water, hot water for bathing, and inverter backup to ensure comfortable living for inmates. 

NMPI offers a total of five full-time diploma programmes, all of a three-year duration. They span across the critical engineering disciplines of Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Civil Engineering, and Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering. 

The admission procedure at NMPI is easy and hassle-free for the aspiring student. Candidature will be accepted on the basis of the performance of candidates in the state-level CET being conducted for diploma programs. Probably, this is considered through the centralised admission process conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education, Maharashtra.
